all items sold by AMERICAN COLLECTED are carefully selected for condition, and have survived years, decades, and even lifetimes of wear and use.  keep in mind that vintage and pre-owned pieces are not new, and often possess some signs of age, wear, or use - these signs will be defined in the condition section of an item's description - and are, quite honestly, what we think make them special.

purchasing a vintage item means you are obtaining a unique item that is rare and/or one of a kind.  AMERICAN COLLECTED takes great care to meticulously review, measure, and describe all products being sold on this website. 

although all sales are considered final, online returns are reviewed on a case by case basis. if you feel an item was grossly misrepresented in its listing, please email shop@american-collected.com. we will try our best to reach a resolution and accommodate your needs. shipping costs are non-refundable. return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

in an attempt to minimize our carbon footprint, we ship all items free of packing paper or slips. all items are shipped USPS 3 day priority for a flat fee of $10 per package.
